About me!

Hello All!

My name is Aly, aka Ms. Lazybones.
The Morning Man is my motivated counter-part, Andrew (lovingly referred to here on the blog as "The Man").

After graduating from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago in 2009 with a BFA in printmedia, I all too quickly left the art world to pursue my dream of being loan free.  I ended up in a cubicle, in a beige office, where I still sit today.

The world of office management and light-accounting can be exciting at times (just go with me here) but a year into my life of florescent lighting I realized I had stopped being creative.  I let my day job take over my nights and weekends, and that was just unacceptable.

Here on Ms.Lazybones I try to stay motivated and sporadically creative.  Here is where I chronicle my day dreams of the future, my creative endeavors, random ramblings, and, more often than not, my day to day life (including documentation of my horrible eating habits...mmmmm hamburgers).

So thank you for stopping by and thank you for complaining when I've taken too long between posts. Having you around to keep me accountable is what keeps me going.

  1. Hi Aly, I'm writing from the APEX Experience Magazine. On our december issue we have an article about the PDX carpet and we saw the amazing nails that you painted. Can you give us permission to use one of those images on our magazine? Please send me an answer to nicolas.venturelli@spafax.com
    Best regards!
    Nicolas
